Pre MOT inspections - 

Did you know that 20% of motorcycles presented for a MOT, fail due to a light bulb not functioning !

By having a working knowledge of the MOT system knowing the components of the machine that will be inspected during a MOT, being able to identify and rectify any faults before your machine is presented for test can save you both money as well as time.


The Course
 

During the courses you will focus on the areas listed below    

·                    Lights and horn,

·                    Fuel and Exhaust System

·                    Brakes

·                    Steering and Suspension

·                    Wheels, tyres and drive chain

·                    Body and Structure

You will learn how to locate each of the above elements, You will learn how to check the parts to ensure that they are working to a safe and satisfactory level. you will learn about the common fault identified during a MOT causing a machine to fail and you will explore the ways you can fix these problems should you find them during your pre MOT checks .

 

 

What will I get out of the course? - The skill and knowledge that will enable you to carry out  a pre MOT inspection of your motorctycle, being able to look for, identify and rectify any potential failing points before your motorcycle is presented for the MOT  

Do i need any prior knowledge? - No, you need have no prior mechanical knowledge to get the most from this course.
